Rudolph Morris, left us unexpectedly on August 16, 2023 at the age of 78 at St. John’s HospitalMorris was born on January 13, 1945, in Highgates St. Mary Jamaica West Indies, where he was also raised. He was the only child of Alice Lawton and Mr. Morris. He was also loved and raised by his loving Aunt May. Morris worked in hotels in Ocho Rios Jamaica as a food and beverage Manager. Morris migrated to the states in the early 80’s and that is when he met Jean. They had one child together, Edward who is their loving son. He loved and helped care for Jean’s other children, Clint and Sharline. Zaynah his adopted grandchild was the prime of his life. He also cared for his other adopted grandchildren, Briannah and Lexi. Morris pursued a career working at different car rental places as a Service Manager. He also had a career working for the Bank of New York as a Cash Officer. While working he became sick and had to retire early. He went to a nursing home where he stayed until the time of his death. Morris was a happy and jovial person. He made you laugh even when you didn’t want to. He loved kids and every time you saw him, he always had one by his side. He loved soccer and wrestling. Wherever there was a game on he was always front and center of it.Left to mourn Aunt May, his son Edward and other close relatives and friends.
