Kim Obituary

In loving memory of our dear mother. A soul so beautiful, God called her home early. Her love was a guiding light and her kindness knew no bounds. She was a woman of many gifts and talents. Even on the darkest days she found ways to bring light to any situation. She wasn’t just any mother, she was the best mother who raised 3 beautiful children. Through the good times and the bad times, she was always there. Not only was she strong and independent, she was a fighter who fought timelessly till the very end and her memory will forever live in our hearts. Kim Marcella Mims passed away on April 20, 2026, leaving behind loving family and friends. Survived by daughter Chelsea Mims, son Brandon Mims, sisters Diane Johnson and Sara Payne, and brothers Ervin Gray and Eddie Gray.  Born in Piscataway, NJ, she resided in Selden, N.Y and worked as a nurse's aide. Cremation to take place in a private ceremony.
