For the first time in forever, I am speechless. I Can’t say your name without crying. It feels like I’m stuck between a dream and reality. Everywhere I turn, I am reminded of you. You made it to the cover of my wedding album, screensaver on my TV, and baby shower and graduation videos. I keep playing back our memories, phone calls, parties, brunches, and our infamous ‘Messy Crew’ group chat. That ‘Messy Crew’ group chat used to last for days and we were always cutting up with each other. I am going to miss that.
You have been more than a friend. I loved and treated you like my big brother and I was your wild little sister. You were always there for me; giving me advice, cheering me up and letting me know that you were in my corner. I can still hear your voice, your laugh, and you saying ‘Now Chatney’ to me when I say something crazy. I want you to know that I love you and I’m going to miss you. Look after my son while you are up there and I’ll see you again.
