Survived by brothers Michael Cassidy ( Joni ), Scott Cassidy ( Andrea ) , Maureen Ponzio (Bob ) , Laura Balkam ( Matthew ), step brother Richard Silvia (Donna )Beloved uncle to Caitlin, Kyle, Robert, Joseph, Tianna, Bobby, Susan, Mark, Ryan, Richie, and Anthony.Born in Port Jefferson, he resided in Ronkonkoma as was a machinist at Island Industries Corporation in Coram, NY. Visitation to be held at Dohanich Ventimiglia Family Funeral Home at 331 Smithtown Blvd, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 on Thursday November 21 from 7 to 9 pm. Burial at Sea View Cemetery in Mt Sinai, NY on Friday November 22 at 9:45am. In lieu of flowers please donate to American Cancer Society.

Chris was a very pleasant friendly individual. He was inspired to help others in the community as demonstrated by his willingness to clean up in and around the lake . He chose to participate, never forced but did it rather to have a positive impact on those around him and the town he resided in . His quiet demeanor will be missed by his loving sister and brother in law . Rest in peace your fight is over .
