Born in Palm Beach, FL, to Danish immigrants, he resided in Westhampton, NY, and worked as an artist encompassing paintings, music, and other forms of art such as fish decoys. Fame began during his days in Greenwich Village in NYC, attending the Pratt Institute in the 1960's and eventually befriending and working with Andy Warhol. Cremation to take place in a private ceremony.
