Lynn Patten passed away on May 19, 2025, leaving behind loving family and friends. She was always a very happy person and she loved cats and flowers. Born in NYC, she resided in Comack, NY, working as a college professor. Cremation to take place in a private ceremony to be followed by a "Celebration of Life" service at Dohanich Ventimiglia Family Funeral Home at 331 Smithtown, Blvd, Nesconset, NY on Sunday, May 25, 2025 from 12pm to 2pm. Immediately following the service at 2pm a luncheon will be held at Ragazzi's Italian Kitchen located at 2950 Middle Country Road, Nesconset, NY.

Lynn was a true friend in every way. She was kind, helpful, caring and devoted. We shared our love of books and reading. She tried many times to teach me a craft, finally recognizing how inept I was. We had many Lucy and Ethel moments. In our younger years, we were always together and always there for each other. We put miles on our baby carriages walking the neighborhood. We worked together in the PTA at our children’s school. As the years passed, we didn’t see each other as often, but as soon as we started talking it was like we never stopped. I never had a friend like Lynn, and I never will again. It was a 49 year old love fest. Rest in Peace my friend, you deserve it.
