Uncle Don was always a kind and caring man. He listened intently, understood deeply and always found a way to bring a smile and laughter to the hearts of those around him.

At my graduation/send off party my friends all asked me who he was. He had spent most of the party talking with them. They thought he was great! He listened, shared with them and made them all laugh. They loved him! 😊 I did too!

I am sad that the mundane in life often gets so consuming that too much time passes between the times that we get to spend gathering together. Uncle Don leaves us to realize what needs to be most important in our lives. Making sure to put all else aside, to make as many opportunities to get together so we can, even if just for a short time, break away from the mundane to rejuvenate our spirit by surrounding ourselves with the ones who have walked with us thru this life. Godspeed, Uncle Don, your sense of humor, smile, good heart and kindness will be greatly missed.
